Announcements the day of the sale take precedence over all printed matter and advertising.
All purchases must be paid in full on Sale Day.
Full settlement may be made by Cash, Credit Card (3% convenience fee), Cashier's Check or Check.
Company and Personal Checks must have a Bank Letter of Credit specifying the amount of purchases guaranteed by the bank. Absolutely no exceptions. All checks should be made payable to Georgia State Equipment Auction.
All Sales will be subject to State and Local Sales Tax Laws.
Internet purchases will have an additional 2.5% fee.
In the case of a tie bid, auctioneer reserves the right to reopen the bid between those two bidders. Auctioneer reserves the right to revoke any bid card at any time. Anyone bidding for an account other than their own must obtain a separate bid number for that account.
In the case that the owner for your company is unable to attend and you are sent to represent and make purchases, please refer to the Buyers/Sellers tab to download and fill out our Consent Form and send it to our office with the Buyers/Sellers Packet.
All sales are AS-IS, WHERE-IS, and with all faults. Bidder has had the opportunity to inspect all sale items and agrees to rely solely on his inspection. All sales are final. Bidder will not be entitled to any adjustments, allowance, or remedy to damages regarding the condition of any item purchased.
All bidders at the auction site are there at their own risk. Bidder agrees the auction site is potentially dangerous due to the operation of heavy equipment. Regardless of cause, Auctioneer or its employees will not be responsible for any injury to anyone at the auction site.
RISK OF LOSS:
Once the auctioneer accepts the highest bid, the item is then sold. Buyer will then take delivery and assumes all risk of loss for the item and agrees to obtain full liability insurance coverage for the item as may be required by law.
Titles are not available on sale day. They will be mailed to the buyer within 20 business days after reasonable settlement. No titles will be available if marked “No Title.”
All equipment must be removed within 2 weeks after the sale. Georgia State Equipment Auction and its employees are not responsible for loading or unloading equipment but will assist you with your equipment. Please make proper arrangements to have equipment removed. We are not responsible for securing loads.
